Nominate an Outstanding Neighbourhood Watch Volunteer Today |
||
Hello Resident
As we say goodbye to Neighbourhood Watch Week, we wanted to let you know that there is still a few weeks left to nominate a local Neighbourhood Watch volunteer.
Behind every successful Neighbourhood Watch group is a volunteer who gives their time, energy and enthusiasm to make their community a better place.
Whether they are helping to prevent crime, bringing neighbours together, supporting vulnerable residents, organising community events or finding innovative ways to grow and strengthen their local scheme, our volunteers make an incredible difference every day.
The Neighbourhood Watch Volunteer Recognition Awards 2026 are your opportunity to say thank you.
Last year we received more than 385 nominations, each telling a unique story of dedication, kindness and community spirit. This year, we want to hear about the volunteers who have inspired you, supported your neighbourhood or gone the extra mile to improve life for those around them.
Do you know a Neighbourhood Watch volunteer who: ✅ Helps people feel safer and more connected? ✅ Has introduced new ideas or built partnerships that benefit the community? ✅ Organises activities that bring neighbours together? ✅ Supports vulnerable residents or improves local wellbeing? ✅ Is a young person making a positive impact through volunteering?
If so, please take a few minutes to nominate them.
Visit our awards page: www.ourwatch.org.uk/volunteerawards
Recognition can mean so much to volunteers who often work quietly behind the scenes without expecting anything in return. Your nomination helps celebrate their achievements and highlights the positive impact they have on communities across the country.
Nominations are open now and close on 5 July 2026.
Help us shine a spotlight on the volunteers who make our neighbourhoods safer, stronger and more connected.
